This project involves development of Ras Al Hadd tourism scheme at Sur city in Oman. Development of an eco-theme project covering an area of approximately 1.848 million square meters, with an estimated project budget of 250million. The first phase includes establishment of a 100-room, eco-theme resort; 50 hotel villas; 150 residential villas and a 7,000 square meter market. The expected completion of this phase is end of 2018. The second phase entails addition of (100 Nos.) new 5-star hotel rooms to the resort, 196 residential villas, a dedicated center for wildlife preservation and an observation park set over a 10,000 square meter area. The third phase will see construction of a separate 200-room, 5-star resort; an additional 50 hotel villas and 179 residential villas, as well as the development of a new market area covering 16,000 square meters, and a specialized marine life park. The fourth and final phase will see opening of a 150-room, 5-star hotel, a dedicated heritage village, and an accommodation zone for support staff with a capacity for 836 employees. The Ras Al-Hadd project forms part of comprehensive Government growth strategy aiming at developing the tourism sector in Oman.
