This Marina will be built at Port Rashid in Dubai. The project is about Construction of a Marina for luxury yachts. The project has been launched in response to an increased demand for luxury yachts. Tenders for construction will be invited soon. The first phase of this scheme is scheduled to open by 2018, with a capacity of more than (400) boats and sailing yachts with lengths in the range of 15 to 35 meters. The second phase will be for luxury yacht berths with length of more than 100 meters. Local Contracting has been awarded the main contract on this project. Dubai-based consulting firm FABMAR Middle East has conducted a feasibility study showing growing demand in the market for space and facilities for mooring luxury yachts, including the giant vessels sailing in the ocean.
