Parallel Roads Improvement Project - Phase 3C2 - Business Bay
This project is in the Business Bay area of Dubai - Phase 3C2, Contract No. (R881/3C2) - Comprehensive Improvement of Parallel Road. The project is about Construction of roads, bridges and underpasses to ease traffic flow on the Parallel Roads, which will reduce traffic snarl-ups in neighboring and surrounding roads. The scheme is a continued extension of Al Asayel Street (D72) and First Al Khail Street (D86), as well as the updating improvement of Al Yalayis Street between Mohamed Bin Zayed Street and Sheikh Zayed Street. This stretch of Al Yalayis Street is intersecting with both Parallel Roads. The scope includes construction of 6.4 kilometers of roadways for Al Yalayis Street, Al Asayel Street and First Al Khail Street. The two intersections configuration contains evaluated signals and second level bridges for the left turn movement (Southeast direction) with a total length of 620 meters for each directional bridge. The Parallel Roads venture is being built in stages. The main stage incorporated the Al Barsha and Al Qouz modern and neighborhoods and spreads Hissa Road in the south and Meydan Road in the north. It expands 15km on the Eastern Parallel Road and 18km on the Western Parallel Road, involving three paths with expressways at convergences that incorporate the Umm Suqeim Road and Latifa Bint Hamdan Road, just as 25 intersections with signs. Stage II included streets in the Business Bay region arranged between the Financial Center Road toward the north, Meydan Road toward the south, Al Khail Road toward the east, and Sheik Zayed Road toward the west.
