This project involves construction of Movenpick Hotel & Apartments Al Azaiba Muscat in Ghala District, the commercial hub of Oman. The scope of the project includes 10-storey hotel building. Basements will be allotted to car parking, ground will hosts retail outlets, 4 floors will be commercial and 5 floors will be serviced and hotel apartments. The hotel will have a total of 247 rooms and suites, 50 deluxe apartments, meeting and conference rooms, restaurants and health club. Standout facilities will include: • Six market-oriented food and beverage outlets, • A rooftop restaurant, • Swimming pool, • Meeting and event space, • A ballroom, • A rooftop gymnasium with spa, • Executive lounge and a residents' lounge. The ground floor will be marked for shops, four floors of offices and five floors of apartments and hotel rooms. The multi-purpose building covers total built up area of 146,962 square meters. The development will be spread over 3,897 square meters on the ground floor for restaurants and cafes. The project will offer 30,777 square meters of commercial office space spread across four floors, three-story underground parking with a stand for 1,581 cars. Movenpick Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with the client to operate this property.
