Mleiha Road Improvement & Upgrade Project
This project calls for improvement and upgrading of Mleiha Road from Sheikh Khalifa Road (Phase 1 to Al Badee Interchange). The Ministry of Infrastructure Development (MoID) has completed over 55 per cent of the Mleiha Road. The development works, including the addition of a third lane and head shoulder, extends over 42km on both directions from the Al Badee intersection to the Sheikh Khalifa road exit in the emirate of Fujairah. The ministry has adopted an innovative way to carry out the mega project without obstructing the traffic flow, added. The major project, worth Dh174 million, were to be completed in the first quarter of 2018.
