This project is in Kuwait. It is being planned to meet the growing demand for petroleum products in the local market as well as cutting transportation costs and maintain strategic stocks in depots as per Kuwait Petroleum Corporation's recommendations. Scope of work includes cross-country pipelines, new pumping facilities and storage tanks. The project involves the construction of a local marketing depot. It includes laying of cross country pipelines from MAA/SHU Refineries to Matla of 0.30m (12inch) dia Gasoil (GO), 0.40m (16inch) dia Mogas (UL 95) and (0.20m) 8inch dia Mogas (UL 91) of 140km long each from Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery to Matla Depot for supply of products, developing pumping facilities at MAA/Shu Refineries, the construction of storage tanks and the installation of safety systems and fire fighting systems. The project is split into 3 distinct portions to enable KNPC to issue separate ITT's for each portion of the work so they could be undertaken by three different EPC Contractors.
