Kirkuk Oil Field Development Project
This project is in Iraq. Scope of work includes 3D seismic testing of the field, which is estimated to hold about 10 billion barrels of oil. Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the development of Kirkuk oil field to increase production by 150,000 barrels per day (bpd). The field is located around the city of Kirkuk, 290 kilometres north of Baghdad. Companies have until April 30, 2008 to file applications for conducting 3D testing of this field. A meeting will be held in June 2008 for negotiations with interested companies. Field operations are planned to commence in the last quarter of 2008.
