This project involves the engineering, procurement, construction, transportation and installation of nine jackets at Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) The contract is for 17 jackets – the steel frames supporting offshore rigs – for the Berri and Marjan offshore oilfields in the Arabian Gulf, north of the port town of Jubail. Berri and eight jackets at Marjan offshore oil fields in Saudi Arabia. UAE-based National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has been awarded two EPC contracts, worth $77 million and $107 million, to install facilities at both the offshore oil fields. The two contracts will be carried out over the next 11 months. In June 2015, the client signed Long-Term Agreement (LTA) deals with four international EPC contractors, which gave them exclusive rights to bid for several oil and gas producing platforms, tie-in platforms, pipelines, power cables and related facilities under the master plan for its offshore fields.
