The II Monte Galala mixed-use project will be developed 120 kilometers west of Cairo in Ain Sokhna and launched over three phases. Development of a mixed-use scheme comprising about 5,000 housing units and two hotels. The venture additionally incorporates the development of 40,000 square meters six tidal ponds, a retail space, a business space, stopping and related offices. The main stage involves 1,800 private units and a lodging containing 100 rooms and 60 touristic condos.The first phase will see an initial investment of about $250 million and include 1,800 housing units as well as a hotel. It is unclear at this stage, which contractors have submitted bids. The main contractor will be appointed through direct negotiations by September 2016. Phase 1 is expected to be completed by 2021, with Phase 2 and Phase 3 likely to be delivered by 2025. Client has signed a contract with Crystal Lagoons to create the first man-made lagoons. The project consists of six lagoons spanning a total area of 40,000 2square meters.
