The project's scope of work consist of a gas plant part 3 located at Awali, South Governorate, Bahrain The project includes setting up of an acid gas removal unit, dehydration unit, natural gas liquids (NGL) recovery unit, C3 and C4 treating unit, utility (water, air, nitrogen, hot oil) and off sites. The units will extract LPG products for exports from associated gas. The plant is part of a series of schemes to expand gas processing capacity over the next three to five years. Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract to build a gas plant for expanding processing capacity to 350 million cubic feet of associated gas. Three companies have submitted bids for the EPC contract. They include Netherlands-based CB&I; Japan's JGC Corporation; and France's Technip.
