Food Storage Facility Project - Hamad Port
This project involves construction of Food Storage Facility, located at Hamad Port in Qatar. Scope of work entails construction of specialist storage facilities for rice, sugar and edible oils, including associated infrastructure and equipment. The facility will be able to have the capacity to hold enough sustenance to meet two years worth of interest for three million individuals. Creature feed will be delivered nearby through reusing of waste items, also, a portion of the items will be sent out. The undertaking incorporates mass stockpiling storehouses with their related foundation and movement hardware, notwithstanding the basic structures completely prepared for the task related activities of taking care of, handling, bundling, reloading and transport. Upon completion, the project will produce a weekly capacity of up to 300,000 kilograms of raw sugar, 600,000 kilograms of rice and 200,000 kilograms of cooking oils. Client has invited firms to submit bids for the main contract. International firms, local firms with Grade A certifications for roads and buildings, and joint ventures formed between both types of companies are eligible to apply and bid for the contract.These products will be available for local, regional and global use.
