Engineering & Petroleum College Project - Sabah al-Salem University Campus

This project involves construction of a College of Engineering & Petroleum (COEP) at the campus of a university located, at Sabah Al-Salem University Campus in Kuwait. Proposed to be build over an area of 78050m2, the College of Engineering & Petroleum at Sabah Al-Salem University City at Shadadiyah Kuwait is one of the esteemed projects of Kuwait University. This is a 7-Storeyed college including six floors above ground and a basement level for staff car parking. It has a vast parking space enough to accommodate about 1200 cars. This college has the facility to accommodate approx. 10000 people. The expected number of undergraduate students is 4,750 and graduate students 470 for Male and Female in addition to 1,413 faculty members and staff. COEP consists of Six academic departments; chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, industrial and management Systems, mechanical engineering, and petroleum engineering. They will be supported by the college administration along with a variety of instructional facilities, researchers spaces, special facilities and spaces dedicated to student activities; all will be equipped with smart teaching technology. The building has six floors above ground and a basement level for staff car parking. The college will be divided into a building for male students and another for female students. The two buildings will contain separate laboratories, lecture halls, auditoriums, conference rooms, exhibition space, prayer rooms and faculty offices, while sharing a central library.
