This project is in Dubai. It will comprise 4 lines. The project involves with the task of Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the development of Dubai Metro comprising 4 lines. The Red Line will be 45 kilometres long and stretch from Rashidiya to the Jebel Ali border. The Green Line will be 22.5 kilometres long and extend from Dubai Airport Free Zone to Dubai Healthcare City. The Purple Line will be 49 kilometres long and link Dubai International Airport with Jebel Ali Airport. The Blue Line will be 50 kilometres long and stretch from Dubai International Airport to Al Maktoum International Airport passing through Emirates Road. The project Scope of work will also includes tunnelling, construction of stations, depots and line facilities, electromechanical works and the relocation of some public utilities along with construction of two bridges across Dubai Creek. The project scope of work also include A 15-km-long alignment consisting of 11.8 km of elevated guide ways and 3.2 km of tunnel, Seven LEED Gold stations consisting of one interchange station, three elevated stations, two underground stations, and the special-event Expo Iconic Station, The project is likely to take off by the end of 2005.
