This project involves construction of a 2-kilometer metro link directly connecting the Dubai Creek Harbour development in Ras al-Khor with Dubai International Airport. The Dubai Creek Harbour development is the closest development to the airport. The 75 million passengers who are transiting . The project also includes a Grand Central Station in Dubai Square. The metro link starts straight from the terminal into the Square. Emaar has benefited from connections to Dubai Metro on its other retail developments in Dubai. The developer already has a large footfall of passengers from the Dubai Metro network at the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Station. The Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station requires the most work, with a move up to the stage and concourse territories to expand the quantity of lifts and charge doors, extra retail space beside the station and another twofold decked person on foot connect interfacing with Dubai Mall. It is understood that the client is currently working with the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) on plans to build the metro link.
