This project involves construction of Dubai Cruise Terminal in Dubai Harbour. It is being implemented in partnership with Carnival Corporation, the world's largest leisure travel company. Bids are being submitted for the main construction contract. Investments are being made across the region in cruise infrastructure, with Dubai leading in the Arabian Gulf by some margin. The city is developing two new cruise terminals at the Dubai Harbour, but officials insist there wonÂ’t be any competition with Dubai Cruise Terminal. Dubai developer plans to build a second cruise terminal at its upcoming Dubai Harbour project, it announced during the Cityscape exhibition. The mega Dubai Harbour project was announced in January this year, and the waterfront destination. An award is expected by early January 2019. The development is slated for completion by December 2020. Local Design & Architecture Bureau is the lead consultant, while architectural model makers have been appointed to supervise design and installation.
