The project's scope of work consists of a 25-storey residential and commercial tower located at Al Yahoom Street, Dubai Marina, Dubai. The Crowne Plaza is also close to the business hub made up of Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City and Knowledge Village. It will be located on Plot No. 392-471 in Dubai Marin, next to Dubai Marina Mall . The 3,037 square-metre hotel site offers walking distance of the picturesque pedestrian promenade which borders the waterway lined with vibrant cafes and restaurants. It will also offer 280 rooms as well as meeting and event facilities, ideal for the business traveler, including three large-sized meeting rooms, a boardroom and a ballroom. It also features a spa and health club, three restaurants, a lobby lounge and bar. Local Gulf Contracting Company has been awarded the main construction contract. Work is expected to commence in the second half of 2014 and completed by the end of 2016. The hotel will be operated by InterContinental Hotels Group.
