This project is in Saudi Arabia. The project involves the implementation of Clean fuels transportation project at the Riyadh refinery with an objective to cut air pollution by reducing sulphur content in the gasoline and diesel it produces. Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the Clean Transportation Fuel Project (CTFP) at Riyadh Refinery with capacity blend of 50% Arabian Light and 50% Khurais Crude to process 124 million barrels per day. Scope of work includes new isomerisation, naphtha splitting and sulphur guard-bed units, as well as diesel hydro-treater reactors, de bottle necking of hydro-cracker and gas concentration units, replacement of crude and vacuum distillation tower internals. The project is part of plan to reduce the sulphur content of gasoline and diesel produced by the refinery to 10 parts per million and to reduce the level of benzene in gasoline.
