Chedi Hotel Project - Ras Al Hadd
This project is located in Sur on the coastline of Ras Al Hadd in Oman. It represents both elegance and practicality and will include villas, spa, and beach club lie close to the 300-m long beach, granting direct access to guests. The hotel will comprise 700 hotel rooms and a boutique resort, 700 residential properties, 23,000 sqm of market souq and retail areas, a dedicated center for wildlife preservation, an observation park set over an area of 10,000 sqm, and a specialized marine life park. A precise and integrated lighting scheme will be used to enhance the light and fresh air of natural colors and stone fabrics selected by interior designers. It aims to create a low lighting environment, one that embraces the rustic natural landscape, and dark surroundings. Set on an idyllic beach recognized as a proven sea turtle nesting ground, the Chedi Ras Al Hadd expands the iconic reputation of the Chedi Muscat with a remote beach resort that draws inspiration from Omani Heritage–respecting the vernacular and deferring to the stunning natural landscapes of the surrounding context. Stark, clean lines define the architectural parti with an understated yet refined material palette that reflects a modern interpretation of a nearby fishing village. The project is currently under tendering stage. The project is expected to be completed by Q4 2021.
