Berth Construction Project - Al Suwaiq Port
This project involves construction of a new berth at Al Suwaiq Port in Al Batinah, Oman. The Omani Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has declared that take a shot at the second period of Suwaiq Harbor will start in the following three months. The plans incorporate development of the harbor's managerial structure, an office of the directorate of fisheries, a fish showcase, stores, eateries, cafés, ice industrial facility, oil station, marine carports for upkeep of pontoons, boats and motors, just as stores for selling angling instruments. The project also aims to construct a special station for coastguards who will be provided with fixed berths for their boats. Work on the harbor's first phase as of late completed and included development of the primary harbor total with lighting. This incorporates slipways and a 115m slope total with securing posts. There are as of now 19 fishery harbors spread crosswise over waterfront governorates of the sultanate.The development is currently in tendering stage and is expected to be completed by October 2020.
