B-Ring Road, Al Mannai & Guest Palace Roundabout Improvement Project

The project's scope of work involves the construction of Al Mannai and guest palace roundabout scheme Ia/12-13/Ds/002/St. for the improvement of the B-Ring road located in Doha Qatar. The tender package consists of two (2) packages; namely, B-Ring Road and Al Khaleej, Onaiza (Al Istiqlal) Streets and Al Rayyan Road. The Contract involves the reconstruction and upgrade of approximately 9.11 km of roads which comprise 3.58 km along B-Ring Road, 1.31 km along Al Khaleej Street, 1.63 km along Onaiza (Al Istiqlal) Street, 1.096 km along Al Rayyan Road, 0.36 km along Al Matar Street, 0.46 km along Rawdat Al Khail Street and 0.66 km along Wadi Msheireb Street. The project comprises construction and upgrading of the following intersections: i. Seven (7) existing at-grade intersections along B-Ring Road and Al Khaleej Street. ii. Two (2) existing at-grade intersections along Onaiza (Al Istiqlal) Street. iii. One (1) existing grade separated interchange at the intersection between Al Rayyan Road and Al Khaleej Street; Gulf (Mannai) intersection. iv. One (1) new signalized at-grade pedestrian crossing along B-Ring Road approximately midway between the intersections with Al Matar Street and Ras Abu Abboud. The proposed interim improvements include converting the current Gulf (Mannai) roundabout to a signalized junction by introducing structural work. Refurbishment of the existing Al Mannai (Gulf) underpass storm water drainage system. Installation of new utilities and diversion and protection of existing utilities. Relocation and shifting substations.
