Al-Dhafra Photovoltaic (PV) Plant Project
This project is expected to be located at Al-Dhafra area in Abu Dhabi. Construction of a Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plant with capacity of 2,000MW, which will be developed under the independent power producer (IPP) model. The project will involve the financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the 2GW solar plant under a long-term power-purchase agreement (PPA). The successful developer will form a special-purpose-vehicle (SPV) company in partnership with Ewec. The developer consortium will own up to 40 per cent of the SPV. Client is planning to launch the tendering process in May/June 2018.
