This project involves extension of sewerage network in Ajman. A Roads Contracting Co. LLC has been awarded the main contract. The Ajman Sewerage Company is currently working on several major projects in the emirate, including network expansion and development projects at Al Jerf Industrial Areas 1 and 3, Al Jerf Commercial Area 2 and Al Jerf Residential Area 2, reported the state news agency Wam. The work also includes expansion of the sewage network in Al Safiya and the new housing projects in l Raqayeb, stated the report, citing a top official. The amount of treated wastewater that is utilized day by day to water yields has now achieved 50,000 cu m while the sewage organize in Ajman gathers 90,000 cu m of wastewater for the emirate's focal treatment plant, just as 16,000 cu m of sewage from territories that are not connected to the system. The project is expected to be completed by January 2018.
