The project's scope of work consists of a hangar facility located at Sharjah International Airport, Sharjah. The facility will include a 100-meter-long aircraft hangar, able to accommodate business aircraft up to Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ size (ACJ aircraft are based on the Airbus A320 family, while BBJ are based on Boeing 737 commercial aircraft frames). The hub will also offer 20,000 square meters of external aircraft parking space and the client has an option to build a second hangar. The complex will also offer approximately 150 square meters of commercial office space. Client will use the mixed-use hangar for maintenance and aircraft storage, and broaden its range of engineering coverage, adding additional types of visiting and based aircraft. It is understood that these hangars will also serve the aircraft of Hangar 8 as they look to offer services in the Middle East, after the client's planned merger with the UK-based firm.
