This project involves construction of a hyperloop link between Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The hyperloop is a vacuum-tube transport system that can propel passengers at speeds more than 1,000 kilometres per hour.Setting up the worldÂ’s first commercial hyperloop, a super high-speed transport system, in the UAE is going to cost approximately Dh1.4 billion to Dh22 billion, according to a top executive. The project conceptualises covering the 145 kilometres between the two cities in fewer than 13 minutes. The 28-passenger capsules will move at speeds of more than 1,200 kilometres per hour within a sealed tube powered by magnetic propulsion and using solar energy. The first phase of the project, involving the construction of a 10-kilometre track in Abu Dhabi, is expected to be in place next year.
