Tender No. RFP-2024241 This project is in Kuwait. The Manifold Group Trunkline (MGT) will be connected to planned gathering centers 29, 30 and 31 in the North Kuwait Operations Zone and form a complementary part of the gathering center project. Client is preparing to issue a tender for the EPC contract.

July 13, 2015 UK-based Petrofac has been awarded the EPC contract on this scheme, worth $780 million. Due for completion towards the end of 2017, the Manifold Group Trunk line will provide feedstock to each of the Gathering Centers (GCs) via three independent networks of intermediate manifolds and pipelines. Each of the three GCs will be capable of producing around 100,000 barrels of oil per day together with associated water and gas.
June 24, 2015 EPC companies bidding on this project have renewed their bid bonds and are expecting the contract to be awarded soon after the holy month of Ramadan.
May 21, 2015 EPC companies are expecting the contract award in June 2015, with project commissioning in 2017.
April 19, 2015 It is understood that UK-based Petrofac, with Independent Petroleum Group has submitted lowest bid of $776 million for the EPC contract on this project. Other bidders include Italy's Saipem and United Gulf Enterprises General Trading & Contracting at $891 million; South Korea's SK E&C, with local Syed Hamid Behbehani & Sons at $958 million; and South Korea's Daelim, with local Zahra Group Holding at $980 million.
