- New science center in Madinah: the center will be built according to the specifications and international standards in the designs of scientific centers. It will spread into an area of 40,000sq KM
- The Shaybah NGL Program: it will extract the valuable NGL components from the various gas-oil separation plants and will deliver the gas for reinjection. The program also accentuates a major upgrade to increase the power generation capacity to more than 1 Giga Watt (GW). It will be done with the help of newly installed cogeneration units, seven single cycle units, a 50-kilometer 230 kilo volt (KV) transmission line, and the associated electrical and non-electrical utilities.
- Shaqiq power plant: South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries have been awarded a $3.3 billion contract by the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) to build this plant. The plant will be built at the capacity of 2,640 megawatts (MW), located 580 km south of Jeddah.
- King Abdullah Water Center: it is one of the mega projects; expanding in an area of more than 20,000-sqm it will have global significance. It will showcase the sustainable technologies especially in the demesne of water recycling and conversation.
